White River Behavioral Health Services

Mental illness can touch anyone and, without proper treatment, can affect a person's life, relationships, and career. The good news is that help is available.

White River Health provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare and substance use treatment for adults and senior adults. Our approach is based on dignity and respect for the people we serve, and belief that mental illnesses and addiction are treatable. Our team is dedicated to helping patients find stability, strength, and a path to recovery.  WRH offers three types of inpatient psychiatric care; each designed to meet the specific needs of patients depending on their illness and stage of life.

Our providers work with patients to create a treatment plan to meet the individual needs of each patient using one-on-one therapy, group therapy, or medications. Providers work with our patients to address mental health conditions, manage symptoms, and develop skills to create a happier, healthier, well-balanced life.

WRH Behavioral Health participates in Medicare and most major insurance plans.

Behavioral Health Integration

Behavioral health integration is a holistic approach to care that extends behavioral health services into White River Health primary care clinics.  Understanding the connection between physical and behavioral health allows providers to collaborate and address the needs of the whole person to improve overall health and patient satisfaction.

Behavioral Health professionals coordinate care with primary care providers and provide convenient, confidential treatment for anxiety, depression, stress, and other behavioral health conditions. Patients in our Primary Care or Rural Health Clinics who may be experiencing symptoms and need help may ask their provider about the behavioral health services available at their clinic.
