The foundation of behavioral health and substance use treatment is that these illnesses are treatable. We help patients find stability, strength, and a path to recovery with respect for individual dignity. By creating three separate inpatient Psychiatric care units, treatment is carefully designed to meet the needs of patients based on their illness and stage of life.
A thorough assessment of current symptoms, mental health history, and physical condition is the first step of the admission process. Next, patients and the treatment team create a personalized treatment with treatment goals, medication recommendations, and therapy recommendations to begin the journey to recovery.
One-on-one interactions with a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or licensed Social Worker focus on cognitive behavior interventions, solution focused techniques, and dialectal behavior techniques.
Group therapy sessions allow patients to interact with others facing similar challenges. This provides opportunities to share experiences, listen to others, and give and receive support.
Our Psychiatrist of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners may prescribe medications to help manage symptoms. Medication is closely monitored and adjusted as needed.
Nurses and support staff are available to help with medication management, monitor progress, and offer emotional support.
Patients are encouraged to join social and therapeutic activities in art, fitness, music, and nutrition.
Before discharge, patients and the treatment team create a comprehensive aftercare plan. The plan may include follow-up appointments, instructions for continued care, medication guidelines, tips for managing symptoms, information on how to recognize warning signs, information for family and friends, and recommendations for accessing possible community resources. The goal of our program is to equip our patients with tools for a healthy future.
So that patients may receive the full benefit of treatment, we ask that family and friends limit visits and calls to posted hours where patients may receive the full benefit of treatment. We ask that visitors be over 18 years of age and limited to two visitors at one time for each patient.

During medical detoxification, a medical team of physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists continually monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort. Medications may be used to manage symptoms and prevent complications. During treatment, patients meet one-on-one with licensed Social Workers who may recommend inpatient or outpatient treatment programs to address the psychological aspects of addiction and strategies for long-term recovery.
Patients are encouraged to stay connected to a support network which may include addiction recovery support groups, family, friends, and/or counseling as a part of a comprehensive aftercare plan. Patients may be referred to outpatient programs that may include continues medication management. The detox team provides recommendations for building a healthy lifestyle which is essential to physical and emotional well-being in recovery.
